The UNSSC Knowledge Centre for Sustainable Development is pleased to announce the next edition of our course “**Human Rights-Based Approach to Development Programming**” taking place from 7 – 10 June 2016 in Bonn, GERMANY.
Why should I register?
Development and human rights are interrelated, interdependent and indivisible. The human rights-based approach to development programming course, based on the UN Common Understanding on the human rights-based approach, is designed for UN programme staff who seek to advance their skills and knowledge to effectively apply a human rights-based approach to their work, and link it to existing UN results-based management tools, particularly with regard to the UN Common Country Programming Process.
This course offers an interactive learning environment using real-life examples and exercises for participants with a view to build capacity to integrate human rights into all policy and programming processes within the context of the new 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
